Picking a lubricant supplier

This section has been a little quiet of late – we are busy with our new web database (more on that later). In the meantime we have been asked to advise on picking a lubricant supplier. Machinery lubrication site had some useful answers as always. If you are looking to switch have a read of these articles on switching suppliers (article onearticle twoarticle three).

You may also want to check any new lubricant deliveries and manage the risk of mixing lubricants (this may be inevitable when changing suppliers).

Finally, if you are going through all the changes associated with a new supplier you may wish to invest in an oil stores upgrade – some ideas for this can be found here and here.
