Alongside the 38 mm neck standard vampire pumps and the 30 mL bottle adaptors we now stock a new 22 mm neck pump to fit the rest of our range (e.g. 150, 500 and some 1000 mL bottles) and various size Azlon bottles. We have a new addition to announce. We have just purchased a Perkin Elmer Spectrum Two FTIR Spectrometer to replace our elderly Nicolet Integra. As well as having the usual oil cell set up it comes with a UATR accessory, which lets us test a much wider range of substances.
We have recently come across this rather thorough yet simple explanation of How Filters Work to Control Contamination. The article was written in 2001 but still makes for an interesting read today.
