Welcome to Oil Analysis Services

OAS and STS are a pair of UK based oil analysis laboratories providing oil testing services throughout the UK, Europe and beyond. We offer analysis of insulating transformer and cable oils, as well as tribology services including analysis of lubricating and hydraulic oils, fuel testing, testing of coolants and greases, filter and wear debris analysis, analytical ferrography and other specialist testing, advice and consultancy services. Oil performs many important functions and appropriate lubrication can improve efficiency and dramatically extend the useful life of your equipment. At the same time it is at risk from a variety of factors, such as environmental or process contamination, harsh operational parameters, system design and human error.

Oil analysis can be used to maximise oil performance, minimise or eliminate adverse factors and at the same time predict developing faults before catastrophic failure occurs.
