We have a new addition to announce. We have just purchased a Perkin Elmer Spectrum Two FTIR Spectrometer to replace our elderly Nicolet Integra. As well as having the usual oil cell set up it comes with a UATR accessory, which lets us test a much wider range of substances.
We will start the articles section off with the basics Oil Sampling Do’s and Don’ts and other useful advice from the Machinery Lubrication magazine.
