SURE Car Launch

It isn’t often that I am invited to a car launch. Especially if the car in question is the one we sponsor.

The Swansea University Race Engineering (SURE) event was held at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea. Following a brief introduction from the team leader and a moving and very well produced video it was time to reveal…

…the chassis.

The full car wasn’t quite ready yet, as the team members are going through their exams, but they are confident it will be done in time for the event in July.

Spot the STS logo (hastily printed the night before!)

And now for a team photo.

And some reminiscing… I’ve spotted a photo of the car I was involved in almost two decades ago.

Final challenge – navigate around the cup cakes on the way out.
